"I chose to use Hutton Builders for our build at Pauanui because I wanted to be able to sit back and enjoy a beer after the build, and not see anything that wasn’t quite right. I also wanted to enjoy the building process. Most building projects are very stressful. I wanted a builder who treated the build as if it was his own, this was often a joke with friends they would say “Mike who owns this building”. Lance Hutton continually pushed for excellence. Even pushing me at times, “Mike you can’t do that”. When you are a bit tired of the constant decisions, it is good to have someone who does this.
